Avem plăcerea de a anunța apariția numărului 2 pe 2020 al revistei științifice Linguaculture, publicație editată de Centrul Linguaculture de cercetare a dinamicii (inter)culturale și (inter)lingvistice actuale afiliat Catedrei de Engleză din cadrul Facultății de Litere.
Numărul 2/2020 are tema From Runes to the New Media and Digital Books și a fost editat de Dana Bădulescu și Florina Năstase.

InterCulturalia #8, an intersection of 5 languages and several fields, organised by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures in partnership with the Faculty of Geography and Geology, the Faculty of Law, Moldova State University, and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy ”Grigore T. Popa” of Iaşi, took place on the 3rd and 4th of April this year.
With a total of thirty-four panels and nine other activities, this year’s InterCulturalia brought together almost two hundred participants eager to share their contributions about embodiment and disembodiment in arts, cultures, and science. Over sixty volunteers and thirty organisers worked together to ensure the smooth running of the event across two days and several locations.
On 18 th December 2025, two days after the official 250 th anniversary of Jane Austen, we gathered in the English Department to award the winners of The Jane Austen Competition. The jury, consisting of three professors of English at the Faculty of Letters (Teodora Drișcu, assistant lecturer, Florina Năstase, lecturer and Estera Federciuc, adjunct lecturer), has selected the letters written by the following students:
