Concursul de traduceri pentru studenți și masteranzi Transferre Necesse Est, lansat în acest an de Catedra de limba și literatura engleză s-a bucurat de participarea a peste 50 de participanți.
În urma deliberărilor, juriul de specialitate a desemnat cele mai reușite traduceri ale textelor propuse, iar lista câștigătorilor poate fi consultată aici. Festivitatea de premiere va avea loc în cadrul ceremoniei de închidere a Simpozionului pentru studenți și tineri cercetători Interculturalia, care va avea loc vineri, 10 mai 2019, de la ora 18.00, în amfiteatrul III.10.

In the hallowed halls of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi and also in a hybrid format, scholars from all over Romania, as well as abroad, gathered to mark a momentous occasion: the centennial celebration of the founding of the English Department (one of the many of the Faculty of Letters). The conference, aptly titled Facing Ideology and its Discontents, provided a fertile ground for intellectual discourse, drawing attention to the ever-evolving landscape of ideologies that shape our world through various mechanisms of our language(s).
