The English Department and Corint Publishing invite you to celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th anniversary! Join us on Tuesday, 8th April 2025, 6 p.m. at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi to discuss the legacy of the world-renowned British novelist! Lecturer Florina Năstase will delight us with a talk about “Love, between Passion and Reason in Pride and Prejudice”, after which we will initiate a discussion on this novel, moderated by Teodora Drișcu, PhD student. The meeting will be held in Romanian, celebrating as well the priceless contributions of our translators.
